This morning we woke up to a bright sunny morning with fog hanging in the valley below us.
We live in a valley between Mosquito Mountain and Mount Waldo. The temperature is often quite different at our house then it is when you get out from between the mountains. I use the term mountains very losely, after living at the foot of the Rocky Mountains for most of my life, I know that there are no real mountains in Maine! The highest peak in Maine is Mount Katahdin at 5,246 feet. The highest peak in Colorado is Mount Elbert 14,426 feet. And you're going to call me a flat-lander??
