My mom and dad showed up this afternoon! They made better time than they thought they might and got here a day early! It was so nice to see them and even though I hadn't seen them in almost a year and a half it felt like we'd never been apart. It only took Pie a few minutes to warm up to them and was soon chasing "Ca-pah" around the yard and was swinging with "Gah-ma". It was nice to see them all having fun. Sam was still a bit unsure of who these new people were but was interested in watching everyone play.
Grandpa bought a surprise for the girls too. He made them thier very own picnic table and benches. The girls loved it right away and even ate supper at the new table that night.
